QUALIFICTATIONS
In addition to the following certification and accreditations, Fern Leaf ABA provides every employee with a thorough training on our client population, our policies, and our procedures prior to starting with their first case. This ensures that they are ready to provide competent, confident services on day one with you and your team.
Behavior Analyst Certification Board®
Fern Leaf ABA only hires consultants who have earned a certification (BCBA-D, BCBA, BCaBA, and/or RBT as appropriate for the position) through the BACB. Any of these certification levels ensure that the recipient has received substantial training in effective, ethical treatment procedures.
In order to support our field, we may also hire trainees who are working towards achieving one of the listed certifications. In those cases, we will provide them with increased supervision and oversight to ensure great services for our clients and a satisfying learning experience for that employee.
Professional Crisis Management Association
Our consultants are likely to encounter physically aggressive behaviors. In order to maintain the safety and dignity of all involved, we receive training for blocking and hands-off defensive strategies through Professional Crisis Management.
Fern Leaf ABA employees are not trained to engage in restraint procedures. If restraint procedures are deemed appropriate by a client and his/her/their support team, then Fern Leaf ABA will work with them to coordinate the agency’s use of those procedures with our behavior support strategies.
Red Cross
First Aid & CPR
Our consultants maintain certifications in First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross
